Binti

Binti was the first of the Himba people to be offered a place at Oozma University. But if she accepts the offer she will have to give up her place in her family to travel between the stars among strangers who don’t her her ways and customs.

Binti is willing to pay the cost of knowledge, but her journey will be difficult. Binti’s stellar travel will require her to fight against the Meduse, an alien race that has become the stuff of nightmares. Will she survive the legacy of a war not of her making? She’ll need the gifts of her people and the wisdom learnt at the university.
