It’s 1435 and Jacquetta Luxembourg is a young and wealthy widow. Her only friend is her dead husband’s squire, and soon they become lovers and marry in secret. They go back to England and Jacquetta becomes close friends with the new young queen. But there’s a growing threat from England’s people and the danger of royal rivals. Strange things start happening to the king and queen , and Jacquetta has to fight for them and for her daughter.
